Cable worked perfectly! I am not the best with computers, but the level of support from Jimmy was outstanding. He sorted out my installation issues on my nasty old vista laptop and helped me use the software by remotely linking to my computer and explaining what needed to be done. Loads of emails back and forth and several remote support sessions, the service I have received was amazing and I only paid for the cable! I will be leaving a tip that is for sure! A friendly, approachable, professional service despite my pestering! I would use again in a heartbeat!! Thank you so much!

I couldn't recommend Jimmy high enough. He is knowledgeable and persistent to a fault (of which my BMW has many). He gives a level of customer support that is rarely encountered and he knows the software so intimately that installation and support answers come back instantly. He must have written this software himself. Believe you can't go wrong with CS Support and the prices are unbelievably low. Make a donation if you're pleased, like I did.

I have just had my faith in human nature restored. I bought a Dcan cable from another company and spent days trying to get it to work and then bought another version of software from another company but that didn't work either. As a last resort I contacted Jimmy who was genuinely keen to help me even though I hadn't bought anything from him. Jimmy connected remotely to my laptop and spent ages deleting the old software and then cleared the fault in my car. The best service ever. Thank you.

I received the cable and software the day before yesterday. The installation on my Windows 10 PC was very straight forward and was very easy. And, it worked the first time I hooked it up to our '99 BMW 528i. After struggling with other vendors cables and jury rigging their software, I found that the effort put into the software installation was fantastic. There is no need to go anywhere else for your BMW Diagnostic than the Cable Shack. Thanks, Jimmy, for the great product and service.

Jimmy is an absolute Gent. Advised on the correct cable for the car and it was with me a day later. Slight problem with my laptop reading the software disc which Jimmy sorted as soon as he could, remotely assisted with the software install and then went way beyond and cleared the fault on the car for me. An absolute star and I cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks for all your help

DO NOT go anywhere else for your cable and software needs! Jimmy not only has everything you need to program, diagnose, and reset your BMW, but he is a pro at the set up of the systems properly! I purchased a cable from someone on ebay, who sent me a dvd with the programs on. I had no support and the dvd crashed my laptop. I decided to buy the software from Jimmy and not only did is software work like a charm, but he took time out of his busy day to make sure everything ran smoothly on my laptop, when he didn't have too because I bought the cable somewhere else. Sought Jimmy's advise by email, as to which cable would suitable for my Series 5, answered within the hour. Bought the recommended K line cable delivered within 2 days, well packaged. Had problem setting it up Jimmy helped by RMA and spent one and half hours doing so, due to slow running PC and obstructions by security programme.He overcame this with extreme patience and dedication and has given me full confidence in the product and the company. Highly recommend this guy. He has gone over and beyond to help me get the cable and software to work as everything i tried wasn't successful, he tried to solve it remotely but couldnt, In the end he arranged for me to take my car to him so he could see what the problem was. He spent alot of time looking and resolving the problem, which turned out to be the OBD port on the car, (nothing to do with his cable or software!) but he even helped me sort that Excellent service, very glad i bought from him. I ordered a cable to reset a steering lock failure warning on my e92 330d. The installation of the supplied software was not difficult at all you just take your time and follow the procedure given one step at a time. Reset the steering lock fault no problem at all using Ediabas 32 and supplied cable ( YouTube video as a guide helped a lot) Super easy I've never used this software before or reset anything on a bmw can't fault the product or service from cable shack. Absolutely delighted .quick easy and cheap what more could anyone want ever ? Top marks cable shack

Jimmy's service is the best there is. You may pay a couple more quid but the money is well spent with his excellent support and product. Jimmy spent time remotely setting up my software when I messed it up, diagnosed the problem and told me how to fix it, BMW would charge in excess of £120 for just the diagnosis. I cannot thank him enough. Don't buy anywhere else you may regret it.

Purchased for the two BMW’s in my family, 120d 2008 and 330ci 2003, my most immediate task being to register a new battery to my 120d using a 64bit laptop running Windows 10.During Installation of the software I encountered some difficulties, however I must strongly stress that this was due to my own incompetence and not that of the CS software. CS customer support(Via Jimmy)is without doubt the best I have experienced anywhere, my e-mail queries were answered mostly by return enabling me to get the system running. Battery registration was soon accomplished recovering the cost on first use.

Having always been involved in BMW's, I have have tried several code readers from CarSoft.. C110 readers.. Wifi OBD plugs and all have been poor. The K-Line cable & software from Cable-Shack worked brilliantly. Simple instructions to setup/configure and use the IPNA program to read/erase fault codes. Getting my money back already!

I received the cable set/software the next day after my order. The instructions were comprehensive and the lead looked and felt like a good quality component. INPA worked immediately and I was able to diagnose a fault my 330d had with ease, providing me with the code which enabled a simple fix. Unfortunately I messed up my install of the software re the VM Player so could not get DIS57 to work. After a quick email to Jimmy at site support he arranged to hook me up via remote session. 15 mins later after some on screen magic, my DIS software was working perfectly!! Superb service!!

I have used a few Inpa/Dis set ups over the last few years and managed to get them working eventually by wasting hours and hours on something that only seems to work on some models due to missing files etc. I bought a lead an the DVD from Cable Shack and I went in person as its only an hours drive away. Jim really knows his BMWs and is an auto electrician, so its good to buy a kit from a guy that owns, repairs, codes and clearly loves BMWs. This is a brilliant set up, high quality lead and really easy to install and use software.

Ordered the D-CAN (K+D-CAN) cable set on 5/15, it arrived on 5/26. Installed the software on a WIN 7 (64 bit) laptop and it all worked first time. This has to be one of the best investments I've made for my '07 M6 in years. Used it to track-down a minor problem the day it arrived - it has already paid for itself! Do yourself a favor, skip all other eBay and Amazon offerings. Purchase this kit with confidence and be done with it. No guesswork involved. Amazing product - you will not be disappointed!

Awesome bit of kit. Bought this after reading some positive feedbacks. There's loads of cables like these on eBay/Amazon but their reviews are totally different. I would rather invest in quality with only a mere £20 extra! And then there's the after sales. Jimmy is the man! Very helpful no matter what time of day u get stuck he will try helping as much as possible. I had ordered a cable with software from Cable-Shack. I was not succesful in connecting my computer with the OBD 2 system of my car (BMW X5 E70). I contacted the supplier by e-mail a number of times to ask for a solution. Each time I received virtually by return a reply. He also offered to assist me by checking the configuration of my computer, which finally was not required because the problem got resolved. Summary: excellend after sales service and highly recommended!!

Absolutely fantastic! The cables are well-built and long enough to reach round the car. Perfectly compatible with my E90, data comes through fast and reliably. The provided software installer and menu made setting everything up an absolute breeze. DIS, INPA and everything else worked first time, detected the cable and I could get to work diagnosing my car's issues in a matter of minutes. :D It's brought my BMW back to it's usual self now I've managed to de-clog the DPF, and a fix few more hidden issues along the way! The hardware can't be faulted but being new to the software I made some dummy mistakes which Jimmy was more than happy to help me with here. It's been a long time since I've experienced this level of customer service, anywhere!

Very impressed by the technical support, cannot match the customer service. I would recommend the cable shack to anyone, your not just buying a cable you are also buying the best backup & support I have ever experienced. BMW E39 M5 (2000) I found this place via the M5 forum as a warning light had popped up on my dash. I tried a few cheap diagnostic machines to see whether it would read the error code but no luck. Found this website and Jimmy was very helful. Advised me exactly what i would need within the same day. Ordered the next morning and it had arrived by the next day. Installed it (no issues at all), plugged in the cable and that's that. Very happy all round and would definitely recommend anyone using. Many thanks.

Bought a d-can cable and software which arrived within 24 hours, I installed this and with Jimmy's assistance via remote login the software was up and running in no time. He even remotely diagnosed the car for me which also showed me how to work DIS. Would recommend cable shack to anyone looking for good quality package as well as after care.
